February 23
This week at the SPCA, There wasn't any laundry baskets out in the hallway, Thank god! I haven't mentioned this in previous blogs, but there are some girls that I work with who are homeschooled (like I am). The cat that I have been talking about since I started blogging about the SPCA named Sinclair was adopted. Unfortunately, Claudia, the scratching cat that I have also talked about since I started, was still there. A deaf dog named Ryan was there. Ryan is sweet. He's always sitting at the very edge of his cage waiting to be pet and then, once you pet him he knows you're there and looks at you. I like the dogs and cats at the SPCA. They are all cute and sweet. It was a very fun day at the SPCA.

This week at the SPCA was good. My job at the SPCA is laundry. Whee! It's usually bad. Today's laundry wasn't really as bad as other days. There were lots of animals to see this week. I went to see a dog named Ronnie, who wasn't really friendly. He immediately started growling at me. There was a new cat named Jay who loved this rope toy. I would put him somewhere and then walk somewhere else and he would come tearing across the room to get that rope toy! I would put it up high and more cats would join in. Sinclair was still there. He is a friendly cat. He rubs up on my face when I hold him. There was a cat named Darla, who was all white except for one little mark on her nose, which was gray. Darla was cute and sweet. There was another cat in the cage next to her named Chance, who had these gigantic eyes. He wasn't in the mood to play. But he was cute. At the end of the day, we finally got Sandy. Sandy has been talked about since I started this blog. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. We get to keep her for one month. When she goes outside, she starts chasing my rabbit around. It was a fun day at the SPCA.

This week at the SPCA, Sinclair and Claudia were still there. I paid more attention to Sinclair than I did to Claudia this time. Claudia's in a cage so I can't hold her like I can with Sinclair. So I spend more time with Sinclair. There was a new dog named Gordon who was all sad. He wasn't really sad that I was there but he was sad to be in a cage. Maybe I will foster him once Sandy needs to go back. I don't have Sandy yet. I'm thinking next week is when I will get her. There has been a dog named Conway for the past 2 weeks. He can jump as high as the cage he's in. The laundry wasn't very bad today. It was more in the middle. Good and bad. It was a fun day.

Today's work day at the SPCA went great. I met a great orange cat named Sinclair who nuzzled me and love all over me. I picked him up to say hi and he rubbed my face and loved on me until I had to go back to work. I was a little bit dissapointed when I had to leave him. :( Oh well. There was another cat in a cage named Charlotte who was next to a cat named Claudia, who I talked about last week. I tapped on the glass and then Charlotte went all loco like a big explosion had just happened. When I first met another cat, named Heather, she had long white hair and now, she's only got long hair on her head. The rest of her is comepletely shaved. A dog that I met today named Mary Jane is very sweet. I walked up to her and then she wimpered and rolled onto her belly. She was cute. Another dog I met today named Peanut was so cute and little. He was this shaggy haired piece of love. I met a lot of cute cats and dogs today. The laundry wasn't terrible today but it wasn't awesome. It was like in the middle. I had a very fun day.

SPCA
I work at the SPCA. I work there because I like the animals there and I want to spend more time with them. I work in the laundry room every Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 PM. There are lots of cute animals there. One of my favorites is Laurel. I met her today. She is a very sweet shepherd and hound mix. She's only 8 months old. Another one of my favorites is a 3 year old cat named Claudia. And the name would work perfectly for her if her name was Clawdia. I'll tell you why I think there should be a W instead of a U. Every time I walk by her little room, she claws on the glass like she wants me so much. I love her. One other dog that I like is a 2 year old chow mix named Rebecca. She is the sweetest thing you'll see. She's shaggy haired and so sweet! Next week, another story about the SPCA will be posted. :)
